Sharing our Commitment

The Baptist Union of PNG (BUPNG) is embarking on a new initiative at our organisation. We have created a social media strategy to achieve several objectives:

1. To raise awareness of the programs and services that the Baptist Union of PNG is blessed to deliver;
2.To inform our stakeholders of what we are doing and share good news; and,
3.To engage with our partners and other community organisations to improving the lives of all Papua New Guineans.

BUPNG is a faith-based organisation that has a great and extensive history of delivering services to the people of Papua New Guinea. It seeks to facilitate the spiritual, physical, social, economic and environmental well being of the people it seeks to serve in their locality.  Based in Mount Hagen we have five main divisions supporting our cause, ‘believing God and serving holistically’. The five teams are Education, Community Development, Health, HIV/AIDS and Ministries.

Different sections of our organisation will blog regularly to share with you the work we are doing and we hope you enjoy, share and pray that our various programs, services, events and initiatives are delivered effectively throughout the community.

We have also created a Facebook Page so we encourage you to ‘like’ our page and ‘follow’ us on Twitter where we’ll be regularly updating our happenings.

Pray for the Baptist Unions, the managers and staff. Pray that God will continue to work through this organisation to reach the world to himself.

  1. I don't see support from BUPNG on the part of Ministry. Ministry is dying! Gods word is not reaching the people. Can BUPNG wake up and support the Ministry? Ministry must be the foundation for other services and development. I don't see BUPNG support local churches in Baiyer and Lumusa areas. I don't see big crusades organised by BUPNG. Don't hide behind the name Baptist and make millions of profits. The truth will prevail one day!
